May 18th American Creed Discussion
Updated: Oct 25, 2020
The American Creed project is hosting their May discussion on May 15th in Room 1101 at Newport High School at 11 am. The topic of this discussion is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). CSR refers to the self-regulating business model that helps a company be socially accountable — to itself, its stakeholders, and the public. To engage in CSR means that, in the normal course of business, a company is operating in ways that enhance society and the environment, instead of contributing negatively to them. Sub-topics include the necessity of maintaining ethical standards and creating a balance between profit and CSR. The discussion is completely free, and all attendees will receive a $2 coupon to Dick’s Drive In. Hope to see you all there!
