Interns Clean Up the International District

Updated: Oct 25, 2020

On Saturday, 4/28, the PATH Outreach Project participated in the 21st International District cleanup hosted by the Chinatown International District Development and Preservation Organization. Interns formed groups with Seattle Troop 15 from the Scouts, and arrived at 9:00 AM ready to clean windows. They were paired up with Amazon employees to wash all the windows in that area. Other tasks included maintenance of parks, window washing, cleaning alleys, graffiti removal and gardening. Over 200 volunteers helped beautify the International District, which includes China Town, Japan Town and Little Saigon. The PATH Outreach Project has been working on issues of sustainability, so the Seattle Spring Clean was a great way for them to give back to the community and have fun!

Thank you to interns Kevin, Gloria, Laurent, Lara and Kristin for attending, as well as the Scouts members Izzy and Alyssa!
