Conrad Lee Encourages Youth to be Civically Involved
Updated: Oct 25, 2020
On Sunday, November 4, Conrad Lee gave an inspiring speech to the Bellevue Mayoral Internship interns. He reminds us of our civic duty to participate in voting and urges those above the age of 17 to consider voting in the upcoming Midterm Elections. He named civic engagement as the best way for people to make a difference and get their voices heard. Mr. Lee also warned against the dangers of blindly voting and advises people to stay informed on current issues. He concluded his motivational speech by saying: “Just making one person’s life better is worth it already. Image if you can make two, three, a thousand people’s lives better.”
